Melli is a warden of the Diamond Clan, tasked with watching over the powerful Lord Electrode. He takes this job incredibly seriously, perhaps even too seriously at times, believing his warden-ship to be a mission from Sinnoh themselves.
In his early life, he was a shy, reclusive boy, likely to cry at the smallest provocation. As he grew, he idolized and looked up to Adaman, vowing to help him in whatever way he could.Which somehow ended up making him the way he is today.Eccentric and prideful, he doesn't hesitate to speak his mind, no matter the topic. If he thinks you look awful today, he's gonna say something. Yet he also won't hesitate to pull out the water works when you do the same to him.He's not afraid to resort to underhanded tactics to get what he wants.That being said, he does have a soft spot for his clan members, and even the surveyors at times. He just won't admit that out loud.

HeadcanonsHis father was Electrode's previous warden, the title being passed onto him when he unfortunately passed due to an accident involving wild pokémon. His mom also passed on at some point, for reasons he hasn't really talked about.His father was also unhappy with how reclusive his son was growing up, leaving Melli to feel like a burden, even if it wasn't explicitly said.He often finds himself doting on the surveyors (he won't admit this) because he secretly longed to have siblings of his own. They easily fit into the big brother role.Melli has cool electricity scars from dealing with Electrode and Voltorb, along with scars from dealing with pokémon in general.
